SnapShot is part of the Manchester Histories Festival – Ten-days of events celebrating the familiar and revealing the new and hidden histories and heritage from across Greater Manchester. Whether people would describe themselves as histories fans or not, MHF2016 will have something for everyone.

The competition opens 9am Friday 3 June 2016 and closes 5pm Sunday 12 June 2016. The winners will be notified via Twitter by Monday 13 June 2016.
The competition prize includes a Samsung Gear VR headset. Phone not included. Additional prizes may be sourced and distributed at the discretion of the Manchester Histories.
If Manchester Histories is unable to contact the winner after a reasonable period of time, an alternative winner will be selected.
Scoring of images is at the discretion of the Manchester Histories. The judges’ decision is final and binding in all matters regarding the competition (including in the event of a dispute) and Manchester Histories will not enter into any correspondence or discussion with entrants.
In the case of multiple top scorers, the winner will be selected at the discretion of the Manchester Histories and based on the quality of images and facts.
All elements of the prize are subject to availability, non-transferable, non-negotiable and there are no cash alternatives.
The prize will be delivered by registered post for proof of delivery to an address within the UK. Manchester Histories does not take any responsibility if the prize is lost or broken.
The competition is open to anyone residing at a UK address during the Manchester Histories Festival 2016. The Twitter account used in the competition must be registered to someone over the age of 13. No one employed by, volunteering for or connected to Manchester Histories through employment or familial connection will be eligible to win.
The prize can only be won by an individual and not an organisation. Anyone tweeting on behalf of an organisation is not eligible to win.
By including the tags #MHF2016 and/or @MHFSnapShot, participants are providing the Manchester Histories with permission to use images and usernames before, during and after the festival. All images remain the property of the original owner.
All images will be moderated before being uploaded to the SnapShot website. Manchester Histories takes no responsibility for content posted by external parties on social media accounts using the #MHF2016 or #MHFSnapshot hashtags.
We will always treat your personal data with privacy and will not distribute it to any third parties.
The Manchester Histories holds the right to withdraw the game at any time.
